JACK THOMAS SMITH CAMPAIGN FOR IN THE DARK

Director Jack Thomas Smith (Disorder) (Infliction) is raising funds for his next movie. If any of you have listen to my podcast you know that I've had the pleasure of having Jack on my podcast.

Jack has been on my podcast many of times to talk about his movies and give his insights on tv shows and many other things as well. Jack has talked on many occasions about his next film he is working on getting off the ground "In The Dark," which is a action/horror film.

Jack Thomas Smith needs your help.

Jack is raising funds at https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/in-the-dark--6#/story to get that capital to start production on the film. Jack needs the funds so he can make his vision of his next movie to the screen and that is where you come in to help. Jack can make this happen with donating to his Indiegogo campaign.

Here is Jacks pitch for the movie and some more additional info as well.

Help Jack Thomas Smith with securing the funds he needs so this can happen. I for one would love to see this happen and we can be a part of something that will be a badass hell of a movie.

Thank You All.

Fox Trail Productions Announces Crowdfunding Campaign to Bring Jack Thomas Smith’s Action/Horror Film “In The Dark” to the Big Screen and the Opportunity to be a Part of the Film

Hello:

My name is Jack Thomas Smith and I'm a feature film director, writer, and producer. My previous films include the psychological thriller “Disorder”, which was released by Universal/Vivendi and Warner Brothers, and the psychodrama “Infliction”, which was released by Virgil Films & Entertainment.

My company, Fox Trail Productions (www.foxtrailproductions.com), has launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign to raise the startup capital for my new action/horror film “In The Dark”, which I’ve written and will produce and direct.

Here is the link to the “In The Dark” Indiegogo campaign:

“In The Dark” Indiegogo Campaign - http://igg.me/p/in-the-dark--6/x/9801149

The campaign plans to raise $185,000, which will cover deposits for named stars as well as the deposit for a specific casting director, who has cast a number of major films. The start-up capital will also be used to begin Pre-Production, which includes storyboards, location scouting, legal fees, publicity, and the hiring of essential crew and effects personnel. Numerous perks are being offered based on the level of contribution, including the opportunity to be in the film as a zombie/vampire creature extra in full make-up as well as tickets to the premiere and after party.

Once the stars are attached, my company plans to raise the complete $6 million budget of the film by securing additional investment, foreign pre-sales, and the monetization of state tax credits.

About my previous films:

“Infliction”

“Infliction”, which I wrote, produced, and directed, is a dark and disturbing assembled footage film that documents two brothers’ 2011 murder spree in NC and the horrific truth behind their actions.

In 2014, “Infliction” opened in select theaters and was released on DVD, VOD, and Digital HD in the U.S. and Canada by Virgil Films & Entertainment, which is the same company that released “Supersize Me.”

“Infliction” is available on Walmart.com, iTunes, Amazon, Columbia House, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, CD Universe, FYE stores, Google Play, Vudu, Cinema Now, Vimeo OnDemand, Netflix queue, and other online retailers.

“Disorder”

“Disorder”, which I wrote, produced, and directed, is a psychological thriller told from the perspective of a paranoid schizophrenic named David Randall, who was sent away for a brutal double murder with his claims of innocence and description of a masked killer completely ignored. As David comes home, the deadly masked figure from his past returns. Does the killer really exist, and is David being set up once again? Or has David stopped taking his medication and is now in a dangerous delusional state?

“Disorder” opened in select theaters in the summer of 2006 and was released on DVD, VOD, and digital download by Universal/Vivendi and Warner Brothers.

“Disorder” is available at FYE, Walmart.com, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Best Buy, and Netflix.

The Stars of the Disturbing Assembled Footage Film “Infliction” available now for Interviews

NEW YORK, NY (September 23, 2014) – Virgil Films & Entertainment today announced that the stars of “Infliction”, Jason Mac, Elliott Armstrong, Ana Shaw, and Catherine Trail, are now available for interviews. The controversial film “Infliction” has been released in the U.S. and Canada on DVD, VOD, and Digital HD. Produced and directed by award-winning filmmaker Jack Thomas Smith, whose last feature film “Disorder” was released by Universal/Vivendi and Warner Brothers, “Infliction” is a dark and disturbing assembled footage film that documents two brothers’ 2011 murder spree in NC and the horrific truth behind their actions.

“Working on ‘Infliction’ left me troubled and haunted,” says Jack Thomas Smith. “It left me thinking about people’s actions or lack thereof and the inevitable domino effect. We all walk our own path in life, which shapes and defines us. What happens to us today, good or bad, will affect generations to come. The stars of ‘Infliction’ did an amazing job bringing these tortured characters to life and it was an honor to work with them.”

“Infliction” is available at FYE stores, Walmart.com, iTunes, Amazon, Columbia House, Best Buy, Barnes & Noble, CD Universe, Family Video, Google Play, Vudu, Cinema Now, Vimeo OnDemand, Netflix queue, and other online retailers.

Earlier this year, “Infliction” opened in select theaters across the country. Additional screenings have been scheduled this fall due to demand at the PA Fantom Fest in Scranton, PA; the Chiller Theatre Expo in Parsippany, NJ; Lake Hopatcong, NJ; Union, NJ; and the Days of the Dead convention in Chicago, IL.

“Infliction” is now being represented for international distribution by the foreign sales agency Cardinal XD and will be available at all of the major film markets around the world, including the Toronto Film Festival; the American Film Market in Santa Monica, CA; Sundance; the Berlin Film Festival; and Cannes.

EVERETT'S HANGOUT FOR 2015

Hello followers and new comers to Everett's Hangout, On April 2nd 2014, I recorded and published my first every podcast. I was stoked an ecstatic that I took a risk and a step into the world of Podcasting. I started a podcast to talk and share the same interest as I do with people who are into the same things. I wanted to talk about the hobbies and the passion for wrestling,Movies,TV,Video Games and Music. I shared that passion with my nephew who started out with me doing this. He only stuck around for the first 10 episodes and moved on to pursue other things and I have no hard feeling for a person who wants to better their selves in life. I wish him the best and hope he excises to better notions in his life, Love you Codeman.

It's almost the end of 2014 and I look back at where I am at since I started this podcast. I look at how friends and family found out what I have been doing in my spare time and embrace the support I get from friends and family. Some friends and family have laughed and only shown or not shown any enthusiasm or motivation for me to jump the hurdles and go for what I believe in doing. I don't let that get me down, I keep pushing forward for my family, my wife and my dog and me.

I do this for them and hope one day that it all pays off ,so I can just do this as a primary then a secondary source for them. It will take some time, but I will see it through and through.

It brings me to say that in 2015 at Everett's Hangout will be heading into new territory. I don't have the exact date, but Everett's Hangout will be heading to YOUTUBE. That's right, YOUTUBE. I will be doing a video podcast once a week on YOUTUBE. I will still bring you the audio podcast. I don't want to abandon the audio podcast. I thank you for my followers who tune in each week to hear my takes on the hobbies and passions that I love. I will be taking it a step further and will be doing what I love on YOUTUBE.

Also, be sure to check out more interviews in 2015, I want to bring more people on to discuss what people do in life. I love to talk to people who have a passion for what they are into or what they do that drives them in life that makes people take note. I will be conducting more of these in 2015.

If anyone is interested in coming on Everett's Hangout please feel free to contact me at the following so we can make time to get together.
