NXT 1/11/17 REVIEW

NXT opens up with footage of Asuka arriving to the arena. Asuka is met by Billy Kay and Peyton Royce. Some verbal exchanges are made between the three that lead into Kay and Royce beating down the NXT Women’s champion.

WOMEN’S TAG TEAM MATCH

Billy Kay and Peyton Royce vs Macy Evans and Sarah Bridges Evans revises a small pop before the bell as Evans and Kay start things off. Billy Kay controls most of the match until Evans makes a hot tag to Bridges. Bridges comes flying in with a double dropkick to Kay and Royce as the crowd cheer.

A couple of pin attempts made by Bridges as the crowd were really into this match. Royce distracts the ref as Kay rakes the eyes of Bridges. Royce comes in and knocks Evans off the apron with Royce grabbing Bridges with a running bull dog to Kay’s knee for the finish.

WINNERS Billy Kay and Peyton Royce

After the match Kay and Royce brag about how they took out Asuka as the crowd boos the duo in the ring. A lot of heat coming from the crowd as Kay and Royce mention that they “Are the Women’s Division,” and they make the division what it is.

Asuka makes her way down the ramp with a couple of officials trying to hold her back. Asuka is still trying to shake off the attack that she received earlier from Kay and Royce as she pushes her way to the ring and goes after Kay and Royce.

Kay and Royce are too much for the NXT Women’s Champ as they stomp her into the mat. Nikki Cross from Sanity rushes into the ring with a big pop from the crowd as Cross clears the ring of both Kay and Royce.

Asuka scrambles to her feet as Cross delivers a missile dropkick to the Women’s Champion that knocks her into the mat. Cross stands over Asuka as she informs Asuka that she is coming for her title. Cross exit the ring as we cut to a commercial break.

Back from the break we see replay footage from the attacks Asuka received from Billy Kay and Peyton Royce with Nikki Cross. During the break officials try and help Asuka to her feet as she goes crazy and knocks out a few of the officials.

Nikki Cross seen with Eric Young and Alexander Wolf backstage is stopped as Nikki is asked about what just happen. Nikki says she is going to take the NXT Women’s Title as Eric Young interrupts and says that Sanity takes what they when they want. As Sanity exits, we see Big Demo looking on from a distance.

ELISA SAMSON vs JOHTHAN CRUZ

Cruz builds some momentum as the crowd chants to Samson to “Drift Away,” with Samson tossing Cruz into the corner with Cruz landing upside down. Samson heads outside the ring and delivers a running boot to the head of Cruz as he rest on the bottom rope.

Samson delivers a big boot to Cruz’s face with a swinging neck breaker for the finish.

WINNER Elisa Samson

ANDRADE CIEN ALMAS vs ONEY LORCAN

Lorcan gets a big reaction from the crowd after the bell rings. Cien pushes Lorcan around that leads Lorcan dropkicking Cien outside the ring. The action heads back into the ring as Lorcan gets Cien in the corner and delivers a couple of running Swiss uppercuts to Cien. The action heads back to the middle of the ring with the ref trying to put some distance between Cien and Lorcan as they brawl with each other.

Cien rushes Lorcan with a chop block to Lorcan’s knee. Cien delivers a Hammerlock DDT to Lorcan for the finish.

WINNER Andrade Cien Almas

After the match Cien is interviewed about what he plans to do in 2017. Cien starts speaking in Spanish as the crowd chant what. Cien gets angry and starts yelling in Spanish at the crowd as he is booed out of the ring.

Tom Phillips interviews NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamora about facing the number one contender Bobby Roode at Takeover San Antonio. Nakamora says Roode will not beat him at Takeover San Antonio and that Nakamora will leave San Antonio as champion. Tom hands Nakamora a ticket from Takeover Dallas that Phillips was given to by Roode. Nakamora looks at the ticket with confusion as the interview ends.

NXT TAG TEAM CHAMION MATCH

THE REVIVAL vs DIY

This is the rematch The Revival has to gain back the Tag Team Championships that The Revival lost at Takeover Toronto.

DIY clear the ring early on in the match as the crowd cheer on DIY. DIY and The Revival make blind tags as the action escalates with Wilder taking out Gargano with a knee. The Revival cut off the rings as tags are made back and forth with Gargano getting worked in the corner.

The Revival would take turns distracting the ref as the other would use dirty tactics on Gargano to get a win. The crowd would boo or cheer The Revival as they show they will do anything to get back the championships.

Gargano gets out of the corner and builds some momentum to get a small package roll up on Dawson with Wilder distracting the ref. Gargano gets tossed outside the ring as Gargano rushes to make a tag to Ciampa. Gargano gets tackled by Dawson before he can make a tag. Dawson works on Gargano’s leg with tags going back and forth as Wilder and Dawson work the leg of Gargano.

Gargano makes it back to his corner with a tag to Ciampa. Ciampa comes in and clears the ring of Wilder and Dawson with a running knee and three German suplex’s to Wilder. Wilder gets a super kick to the head from Ciampa as Ciampa puts Wilder into an arm bar. Dawson rushes in and breaks up the hold.

The Revival end up outside the ring as both members of DIY delivers suicide dives to The Revival with the crowd cheering on. The Revival gets tossed back into the middle of the ring as DIY deliver super kicks to The Revival with DIY covering both members of The Revival for the pin fall.

WINNERS and still NXT Tag Team Champions DIY

DIY celebrate their victory as Paul Elllering walks out to the stage. DIY look on at Ellering as The Authors of Pain attack DIY from behind. The Authors deliver a Super Collider to DIY with both members being power bomb into the mat. Paul Ellering claps as his Authors of Pain lay to waste Gargano and Ciampa of DIY. The Authors hold up the NXT Tag Belts making it very clear that they are coming for the Championship Belts.

William Regal watches on from his office the destruction of The Authors of Pain and is asked about what he just witness. Regal says that The Authors of Pain will get a shot a DIY and the NXT Tag Team Championships at Takeover San Antonio. Regal mentions next week we will see the contract signing of NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamora and the number one contender Bobby Roode.

Asuka barges in Regals office demanding Regal to make a title match for her at Takeover San Antonio. Regal ask against whom? Asuka yells at Regal that she wants everyone referring to Billy Kay, Peyton Royce and Nikki Cross.

Very good episode all in all with seeing developmental talent in matches this week. The main event with DIY and The Revival was awesome with quite a bit of action from both tag teams. I give credit to The Revival for being a very good heel tag team doing whatever it takes to win. I can’t wait to see when or where The Revival will end up on the main roster for 2017.

Asuka being beaten down from Billy Kay and Peyton Royce is making it clear to Asuka that both Kay and Royce run the women’s division will be an interesting feud with Nikki Cross in the mix. After weeks of seeing the interaction from Nikki Cross and Asuka, Nikki’s intentions are now clear that she wants the NXT Women’s Championship. How will Asuka handle all three of these competitors gunning for her?

The contract signing next week with Shinsuke Nakamora will be interesting to see as Bobby Roode has started playing mind games with the champ. In the next few weeks the buildup for their NXT Title match should be good as both competitors

MY NEW YORK TRIP FINAL PART

LAST DAY IN NEW YORK

The last day and night in Time Square before we headed back to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for Monday Night Raw was fun.My wife and I slept in a little and decided to relax some while we waited for the time to head back on the subway to Brooklyn.I was talking with my wife and we decided to head out to the streets and go find some food.We got ready and walked down 7th ave and 42nd st to Walgreens to get something to drink.

NIGHTMARES OF CARTOON PEOPLE

When you go some place you never been before in your life you will always learn not what to do the second time around. That happens to me if I happen to go back to a place where you know what to do and what not to do.I learn not to get near or approach cartoon characters walking the streets in Time Square.

My wife loves Minions.Hell, I won her a Minion doll out of the crane machine while we were at the boardwalk in New Jersey next to where she grew up at.My wife and I seen a Minion walking around she went to go get a picture with it.First off, bad ideal.Second, I got stopped by Iron Man. I went to take a picture with Iron Man a "Selfie" or whatever the hell you call it now of days.Out of nowhere all of these characters such as Micky and Minnie Mouse show up with the Minion and Iron Man.We take a group picture,Nightmare after this picture was taken.

NEVER TAKE A PICTURE WITH PEOPLE DRESSED LIKE THIS IN TIME SQUARE or you will get cornered or ganged up with them wanting money from you to take a picture with them. The cartoon characters surrounded me wanting money.Minnie pulled out from what she had hid a badge that said TIPS on it.I thought Oh Shit, here we go, they want money for this just like everyone in Time Square wants a dame dollar. They surround me saying "Tip,Tip,Tip."I looked over and my wife was booking it.I pulled out a dollar and threw it at Iron Man and said,"Keep the change or share it with the rest of you freaks," something around the lines of that.I ran and caught up with my wife and argued with her while we walked to Walgreens.I was mad that she left and she thought it was funny but I didn't.We laugh at it now but, at that time I didn't.

We made our way back to Walgreens and had to go back the way we came to get back to the hotel. We cut through avoiding anyone dressed up like a freak and went back to the hotel. We took a quick nap before we headed back out for food before we hit the subway for Monday Night Raw.We found an Applebee's near by that was pricey.

When we got back to the hotel I stopped over in the smoking section before we headed back upstairs to our room. One of the guys that we talked with at SummerSlam that sat in front of us was on his way out and stopped by to chat with us.He was from London England and came in for SummerSlam weekend and said he was going to be at Raw tonight. My wife and I told him we were going to be there as well.We chatted for a bit about SummerSlam and other wrestling stuff.I enjoyed talking with him and I liked how friendly he was.He had to go and said he would catch up with us later tonight. We went back to our room and got ready for Raw.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW BARCLAYS CENTER BROOKLYN NEW YORK

We rode the subway back to Brooklyn again for the final time.We get up to the Barclays Center and a bunch of people was almost out in the road waiting to get in.The line was coming out onto the road and the cops pushed people up onto the sidewalk. My wife and I got pushed up onto the sidewalk and a person in line got mad that we were cutting.I tried to tell him about the cops behind the crowd and he didn't want to hear it because he was being thickheaded and I grabbed my wife's hand and we walked back to the back so I wouldn't get into it with this dude and knock his ass out for being an asshole.

The back cleared out and the line started moving. Some guy came up trying to sell me his SummerSlam chair he had.He didn't want to take it back with him from where ever he came from.He bugged the hell out of me and I told him just go on EBay and sell the dame thing and to leave me the hell alone. He got the hint after I ignored him and he walked up to the people in front of us and they told him to get the hell out of here and why the hell would they want to carry something like that all night. It was funny as hell you had to been there.

Our seat was better for Raw then they were for SummerSlam. My wife and I sat four rows back from ringside on the camera side.We also got to sit with everyone that we sat with at SummerSlam.I loved it as the night went on.We cheered for the return of The Dudley Boys as they put The New Day through a table. We loved the promo's from John Steward and Ric Flair and John Cena. The debut of Braun Strowman was cool as he joined They Wyatt Family.Of course the night could not be complete with out a surprise return of The Icon Sting.

While I enjoyed Monday Night Raw I did notice a couple of people at Raw.

First off I noticed and if you watch Raw you will see this guy at almost every Raw.He sits sometimes on the camra side of the ring most of the time.I ran into him last year at Battleground PPV in Tampa. He is one of those "Superfans," as they call it,Vincent Michaels

Vincent Michales was sitting over across next to where the wrestlers would come out to the ring.Vincent Michaels takes alot of pictures of himself at wrestling events. He sometimes looks over at the titan tron and makes faces so it would show up on TV.The "Selfie King," can be found on twitter as "MeepMoop Guy." If I had money like that and I was young, then I guess I would be going to as many Raws as I can go to.

Over to where we were sitting for SummerSlam was none other then Sam Roberts.Sam Roberts is a radio personality that has a show on Sirus XM.Sam does a podcast on Wednesdays that talks about wrestling and he has interview many wrestlers on his show.Sam lives in New York and I tried to make my way over to Sam right when Raw was ending to say whats up.Sam got out of there before I can get to him, maybe next time if I'm ever back in New York for a wrestling event.

As Raw ended my wife and I made our way back on the subway and to the hotel. We got back to the hotel and ran into our Scottish friend from SummerSlam and recommended a pizza place just down the street. We were hungry and he said the pizza wasn't that bad.My wife and I got our self's a pizza and a couple of salads and went back to our room and watch some of the NXT Takeover:Brooklyn that we didn't get to see.We ate and watched it and went to sleep.

The next day we packed up and checked out of our hotel. We took a cab back to Peen station and got on a train and rode back to New Jersey. This was only the first of our 18hr drive back to Daytona Beach. My Mother-In_Law picked us up at the train station and we went back to her hotel. We packed her up and she checked out and got into the car and drove back to Daytona Beach.

As we traveled my wife and my mother-in-law cut up and took turns driving back down I95.DC traffic sucks as we hit some going through to get to Virgina. That slowed us down a bit but we kept on at a steady pace down the interstate.

As we got through DC we stopped at a rest area in Virgina and took a quick picture of this.My Mother-In-Law insisted we get a picture of this, she wanted one of my wife and I.

One thing about long trips back home is that you find ways to make the time pass as you sit in a cramped up car.My wife and I got her mom to do the DX chop and to say "Suck It." She does this now quite a bit when she comes around,we corrupted her.I found a good sold oldies station on my tunein app on my phone and hooked it up to the radio and we sang or tried to sing some of the oldies.

We made it back to Daytona Beach the following morning. We picked up our dog from our friends and dropped off my mother-in-law and went home.I slept like I haven't in a week. What a hell of a trip and week for me.I'm glad it was over and now back to work with blogging and podcasting.

I hope everyone enjoyed this three part blog about my New York trip.I was asked if I would do this agin.Yes I would like to go back someday and see New York but,not anytime soon.

MY NEW YORK WEEKEND PART TWO

SUNDAY SUMMERSLAM 2015

After taking some time to see some of the places on Saturday,we woke up the following morning at the hotel early to get ready for the day we've been waiting for SummerSlam 2015. The first thing we had to do was get ready for our meet and greet with WWE Superstars. We got to go down to the 9th floor for a breakfast buffet with others as we would eat then get to meet a WWE Superstar. The buffet was alright not the best with some of the food. I was hunger and didn't care too much of what they had to offer. I hit some french toast and bacon and sausage and toast. My wife and I found a table with others sitting with a couple of seats not taken. There was a lot of people there eating talking about wrestling and having a good time. As we sat down to eat I had to get back up again,I didn't have my coffee.I said to my wife I need my coffee and if I don't have it I'll end up becoming like Brock Lesnar without it joking.

WWE Diva: Paige

As we ate our breakfast and I downed my cup of coffee we started talking with the people at our table.A couple at our table was from England another person was from the Netherlands. I was amazed by how many people traveled to New York for SummerSlam. We all was trying to figure out who we were going to meet? One person said that he was a "Superfan" and that they sometimes get someone who was local or from around the area. I said "We might get to meet The Brooklyn Brawler then." Everyone laughed and then the tone of the room changed as the WWE Superstar or Stars entered the room at the far end and took a seat at the table. It was WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and two time Diva's Champ Paige. The people cheered and clap as Seth and Paige took their seats. The tables was numbered 1-30 and each table by number was called up one at a time for the meet and great.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion: Seth Rollins

I brought one thing to get signed and it was a program book that I picked up back in February when Monday Night Raw came to Orlando at the Amway Center. I had that with me with Seth's section and Paige's section ready to get signed.I took a picture with Paige and said it was nice to meet her and she thanked me as well very nice.Paige's English accent sounded awesome in person then on TV.I said hey to Seth with it coming out as "What's up Rollins?" which I didn't intend it too, that's why he looks like he does in the picture, lol I don't know. I was a bit nerves.

The one thing that I didn't like was how they rushed everyone through the meet and great. The meet and great was a couple of hours. It was from 9am to 11am. I say by the time almost everyone got through the meet and great it was 9:55am or 10:05am somewhere around that time. I didn't like the fact that the person they had was rushing us and everyone out as fast as they came up there. I spent almost $3 Thousand of my tax money this year to enjoy this part of spending 16 to 17hrs drive from Daytona Beach Fl to get rushed through a meet and great. I only had time to say hi and thank you, that's all. I felt robbed by the fact that only an hour was left from the meet and great.I even felt really bad for the ones who came over seas and received the same treatment. On a plus I shared my pictures on my twitter and tagged Seth Rollins and Paige.I received a lot of favorites and Retweets. The real Paige even favorite my picture I took with her. I thank you Paige for that if you every sit down and read this blog post.

TIME SQUARE AGAIN

After our rushed meet and great with WWE Superstars it was time to take a quick walk through Time Square after we relaxed for a bit back in our hotel. We went looking for some construction paper to make a couple of signs for SummerSlam. We travel through Time Square to a few places such as Walgreens and a couple of places like that.We did in fact found a couple of small erase and write boards from Walgreens and it was set that we could write again and again different things to hold up so our friends and family could see where we were at during SummerSlam.

The streets of New York on a Sunday afternoon was busy with people walking all over the place. I just was amazed how many people walk through the streets of New York everyday. It never stops. At a read light just as we were about to cross over and head back to our hotel I noticed someone in the right corner of my eye and it was The Naked Cowboy. I said to my wife we got to meet him. We ran over and took our pictures with him and he gave us an autograph and thanked us and we tipped him a couple of bucks. I was hoping I was going to meet him and I did and was happy after all the times I've heard about him and seen him on TV.

The Naked Cowboy

SUMMERSLAM 2015: BARCLAYS CENTER,BROOKLYN NEW YORK

I heard the horror stories about riding the New York Subway over the years. I was told what not to do and what to do from friends that have lived in New York.We headed down to the subway and took a ride over to Brooklyn for the PPV.The ride wasn't bad heading over. It wasn't bad like I was told as my wife and I rode from Time Square to Brooklyn. We got off and made our way to the streets and around the corner was the Barclays Center. As we walked over we ran into the people that we meet in New Jersey taking the train to New York. We briefly chatted a bit and I asked how NXT Takeover was the following night. They enjoyed it as they said the best matches was Bayley and Sasha Banks for the NXT Women's Championship was awesome and the ladder match with Finn Balor for the NXT Championship was the best matches. We parted ways and wish each other a good time for tonight.

We made our way into the sea of people as we waited to get in.We stopped by the T-Shirt trailer and picked up some shirts while we waited for the doors to open. As soon as we entered we hit the concession stand and I bought a tall miller light and we made our way to our seats. The cool thing about where we were sitting is that we get to take the chairs home with us that has SummerSlam on it.We sat next to to where the wrestlers enter from the ramp.We talked to the people around us through out the night of the PPV.

The people in front of us was from London England. The people next to us was from Australia and one person behind us was from Scotland.I was impressed by how all of the people around us traveled all this way to be here at SummerSlam.

One thing about SummerSlam is that it wasn't that good with the build up like they intended it to be.I know from watching at home the booking for the PPV was not great and with the finish that went down with Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker that killed it for a lot of people. On a plus side of this being there seeing it live was cool. I said this before being at a event live and feeling the energy with the people around you is something you must experiences for yourself. We started chants and got into it with the matches as the night went on.

My favorite matches at SummerSlam 2015

Sheamus vs Randy Orton

Champion vs Champion Winner Take All:WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs United States Champion John Cena

Stephen Amell&Neville vs Stardust&King Barrett

Kevin Owens vs Cesaro

I enjoyed these matches the most. The other ones I did not list were ok but these matches I liked the most. One thing that I didn't like was the fact that we were on the floor and quit a bit of people had signs.Every time we or people would hold up a sign when a wrestler was making their way to the ring the security standing around at the Barclays Center would come over and tell people to put their signs down,it wasn't allowed. One person behind us almost got into it with a security person and the security person said it was WWE that didn't want signs to be held up for those with floor seats. I was like WTF? Ok,so WWE didn't want fans with floor seats to hold up signs,so if you bought tickets and had floor seats then WWE should have put that on the tickets instead.Or was it the Barclays Center that didn't allow you to hold up signs? I thought the security was assholes for that and I guess I'll never know who it was that made the rule. I though people got cheated with spending time making a sign to show off to show support for their favorite WWE Superstar and they can't show it off just for a couple of seconds,I think that is unfair for those who traveled across the Atlantic and they spent their money to be told not to hold up signs.

After SummerSlam was over my wife and I made our way back to the Subway to head back to the hotel. While we waited down on the platform,we were standing with the group of people that was sitting with us during SummerSlam.Come to find out that we were all staying in the same hotel and getting off of the same stop.I thought this was great because I didn't like the fact that my wife and I had these two chairs that we had to carry back through Time Square and being on the Subway with them.I didn't want anyone to mess with us and take our chairs that we got to take home with us.

I suggested that if it wasn't too much of a problem if we all would go back together as a group since we were going in the same direction and walking to the same destination.Everyone agreed and we rode the subway back to our stop in Time Square. There was about 7 of us walking in a line going through Time Square with our custom steel chairs and wearing our wrestling shirts.A old lady leaning up against a building came off the wall saying something in Chinese or something at one of us. One of the guys from Australia thought she was saying something to him.He told me of the time he was at WrestleMania 30 in New Orleans and got slapped in the face by a women while getting into a cab there.I laughed when he told me this and he said to this day he still doesn't know why she did a thing like that.

We made it back to the Marriott without anything happening to us.We took the elevator back up to the 42nd floor to our room.I took out the T-shirts that we bought and looked over what we picked up at SummerSlam.

What a long day we had and tomorrow night is Monday Night Raw for us.We turned in to get some rest because we had to go back one more night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York for Raw.At this point we had a good time and was pleased with how much fun it was being in a city that I've never been before.

I'll be back with the final part of My New York Trip later on this week.Thank you for reading this long blog post as always, you ROCK!

MY NEW YORK WEEKEND:PART ONE

Last week I had the pleasure of taking a trip to New York which I've never been to.I've seen countless times on TV shows and in movies parts of New York through out the years. I've heard some stories from people that have lived in New York or have seen news clips or read stories about the "Big Apple." All was good and some bad about being in the city that never sleeps.

Too make this short,my wife and I was watching the WWE network a few months back around the time of a PPV that was airing. In the mist of watching the PPV, my wife and I talked about where we wanted to take our next vacation. She mention while laughing that she would not go back up north because she felt she didn't need to make another trip back up to New Jersey (my wife is from New Jersey) and we should go someplace we've never been before. After she said this, the WWE network ran an advertisement for where one of the PPV will be going to. The add was for SummerSlam 2015 mentioning it was coming to New York/New Jersey. My wife jumped off the couch and got excited. She said we have to go when tickets come available. I laughed and said I thought you didn't want to go back up north again? She said never mind what I said we are going. I said ok it's done, New York here we come.

NEW YORK BOUND

Just before we hit the road for our 16 hour trip to New York,we got package deal that WWE was offering for that weekend to SummerSlam. We got a package that lets you stay 3 days and 3 nights in Time Square at the Marriott with breakfast and a meet and greet with WWE Superstars the morning of SummerSlam. On top of that we got tickets included for Monday Night Raw. Did I say both nights was floor seats close to the ringside? We got our package in the mail and emails giving us the info we needed for that weekend. We were set and just counted down the days and a few months before our trip.

The trip was set and like I mention before,it was a long 16 hours to drive to get to New York.My mother-in-law came with us and stayed in New Jersey to visit with her sister while my wife and I ventured into New York for our weekend. Our first stop was New Jersey on our trip. We stayed in New Jersey for a couple of days before we took a train to New York from New Jersey. We hung out and went and ate pizza in Keansburg New Jersey at Anthony's Pizza.Anthony's to me has the best pizza in Keansburg and if you happen to be passing through, I suggest you stop by and see for yourself, you will not be disappointed with how good the pizza is and other things to try out from the menu.

Anthony's Pizza Keansburg New Jersey

After a couple of days in Jersey,my wife and I headed to New York for the weekend. We took a train from Woodbridge to Peen Station. While we were waiting for our train I noticed and chatted a bit with a few people on their way to the Barclay Center to watch NXT Takeover Brooklyn. We talked about some wrestling and possible running into each other at SummerSlam the following day (which we did run into them again) and wished that everyone have fun attending the weekend watching wrestling live.

NEW YORK,NEW YORK:THE CITY THAT NEVER SLEEPS

Saturday in New York was fun. My niece met me and my wife at Peen Station. We followed her up from the train station to the streets of New York. I tried not too much to look like a tourist with a backpack on while carrying a duffle bag with enough cloths to last three days while I was here. I took in the sights and sounds of the city as I walked down a few blocks to the Marriott hotel in which we stayed in. As soon as we checked in and dropped off our belongings,we hit the streets.

One thing I noticed which I will sound dumb is New York has A LOT of people. We walked Time Square as my niece pointed out buildings and places in Time Square as we pushed through the crowds of people. We passed by Bad Boy Records in Time Square and where MTV use to have TRL back in the day when MTV played Music Videos. My niece showed us the building she works at in Time Square also. While we made our way to Central Park, people tried to give and sell and ask for money. I just kept on walking ignoring people trying to get money out of me. People asking for tips with handing out whatever it was they were trying to sell.I had one guy who was trying to give away his "free album," asking me for a tip in the process. Here's a tip for you, GET A JOB!

Central Park is nice.I've heard stories about how people would get mugged or almost getting killed here back in the day.Things have changed and I noticed cops walking around the park.I did get to see as many others a guy who must have been on something loose his mind and threw himself onto a hood of a car and rolled off onto the pavement. The cops was fast in acting as the people got out of the car and was about to kick the dude ass for just being a dumbass.I knew I was diffidently in New York.

Later that night I met up with my niece at her place with her boyfriend that I finally got to meet. My niece lives not far from a landmark that was used on the Led Zeppelin album Physical Graffiti album. I snapped a quick pic of the buildings that was used for that album.

The building used for the Physical Graffiti album

My niece and her boyfriend took me and my wife out to a pizza place not far from where she lives.I got to enjoy New York pizza for the first time with a glass of red whine to top it off. I loved it as well as the improve comedy entertainment we went to afterwards. My wife and I took a cab back to our hotel and taking a cab ride that evening for the first time in New York was something else. I so far got to experience some of the things that is in New York. Sunday was that day of the PPV but I'll get to that in the next blog post I put up.

Hope everyone likes and have enjoyed part one of my trip to New York. Be sure to come back when I talk about my time the following day going to SummerSlam.
